Select a product to estimate shipping. How much weight can these hook and loop strips hold?
Each strip can hold up to 15 lbs in vertical applications when properly installed on a clean, dry, smooth, solid surface. Allow 72 hours for maximum bond strength. Actual performance may vary by surface, load direction, and conditions.
What surfaces do these strips work best on?
Best on clean, dry, smooth, solid surfaces such as metal, glass, rigid plastic, sealed wood and tile. For painted surfaces, test first. Avoid textured, porous, dusty, peeling or freshly painted surfaces.
Are these hook and loop strips reusable?
Yes. The hook-and-loop connection is designed for 5,000+ reattachment cycles, so items can be removed and reattached repeatedly. The adhesive backing is not repositionable and should remain fixed to the original surface.
Can these hook and loop strips be used outdoors?
Yes. They are waterproof and designed for indoor and outdoor use, including RV, marine, garage and outdoor applications, with a temperature range of −20°F to 220°F when properly installed.
How do I get the strongest adhesive bond?
Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol and let it dry completely. Peel the liner, press firmly for 30–60 seconds, and allow the bond to build. For maximum bond strength, wait up to 72 hours before applying heavier loads.
