First, remove the red cap from the end of the probe and open the tester.
Second: Insert the probe into the soil by 7.6-5 in.
Then read the data for about 10 s. The data will be displayed on the monitor.
Finally: Remove the probe from the ground after each use and wipe it dry.
Note: How to use:1. Do not force the soil tester into very hard soil.
2. Do not put the soil tester into the soil for a long time.
3. Do not use the soil tester to test water or other liquids, the soil tester is only for soil testing.
4. Wipe the probe after each use.
