The Honeywell Home MicroDefense Air Filter CF200A1016 20x25x4 provides high-efficiency air filtration – allowing for even airflow throughout your home. It carries a MERV 12 rating which is up to 60 times more efficient than a typical one-inch fiberglass filter. This long-lasting filter can capture both microscopic particles like dust and smoke and larger contaminants like mold spores and pet dander.
How do I install an air filter?
Our air filters should be placed inside the intake boot, ensuring a tight-fitting seal so that the filter works to the best of its ability, filtering out as much bacteria, dust, mold, pollen, viruses, smoke and airborne particles.
What if it's too tight to load into my furnace?
The air-tight seal of the filter is crucial for best performance. This filter fits MOST 20x25x4 in. boots, but unfortunately there are some boots that may not be compatible. Consult your owner’s manual for manufacturer recommended specifications.
Does the arrow point up or down on an air filter?
The arrow should be pointing in the direction that air flows through your system, which is typically the direction of the furnace's air handler or blower compartment.
What happens if an air filter is not changed?
