MICE: Apply 1 block per typical placement in infested areas. Space placements at 8 to 12 foot intervals. Two blocks may be needed at points of very high mouse activity. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 15 days or until signs of mouse activity cease. FOLLOW-UP: Replace contaminated or spoiled bait immediately. Using waterproof gloves, collect and dispose of all dead, exposed animals and leftover bait. To prevent reinfestation, limit sources of rodent food, water, and harborage as much as possible. If reinfestation does occur, repeat treatment. Where a continuous source of infestation is present, establish permanent bait stations and replenish as needed.
How long does it take to work?
Mice and rats usually consume a lethal dose of poison in a single night's feeding, but it may take two or more days for rodents to die. Keep out a fresh supply of Tomcat with Bromethalin Bait Chunx for at least 10 days, following label directions.
Does this bait work on all types of rodents?
It kills meadow voles, mice, and rats. (Not permitted for use against the following species in CA: cotton rat, eastern harvest mouse, golden mouse, Polynesian rat, meadow vole, white-throated woodrat, southern plains woodrat, Mexican woodrat.)
