- 11-GAUGE HOT-DIP GALVANIZED STEEL – Made of thick 11-gauge hot-dip galvanized steel with a durable zinc coating for rust resistance and reliable strength. Each staple is 6 in long, 1.2 in wide at the top, and about 1.5 in wide at the bottom. The legs can be adjusted by hand to fit different applications. Press into normal garden soil by hand or boot; for hard or dry ground, use a rubber mallet with gentle taps to help keep the staples straight.
- PICK THE RIGHT LENGTH FOR YOUR GROUND – 6 in is ideal for normal garden soil, weed barrier fabric, sod and drip lines. Choose 8 in for compacted soil and heavier fabric; 10–12 in for deeper anchoring on slopes, loose soil, windy conditions and larger yard inflatables. Choose 4 in for shallow jobs in soft beds. This 6 in staple uses thick 11ga galvanized steel for a strong, stable hold.
- ONE STAPLE, MOST OF THE YARD – Secure weed barrier and landscape fabric, sod and artificial turf edges, ground cover and plastic mulch, garden edging, row covers and frost cloth, tarps and ground cloth, cardboard sheet mulch, chicken wire and garden netting. Use along the bottom of mesh fencing to help secure the lower edge.Angled chisel tips pierce fabric and enter soil easily without pre-drilling.
