Real 1" Full Port Design
Not all 1" water heater connectors are the same. Some connectors use a 1" nut but have a reduced internal opening, which may restrict water flow. EZ-FLUID is designed with a real full-port opening to help deliver stronger, smoother water flow for high-demand water heater installations.
EZ-FLUID Real Full Port vs. Standard Reduced Port Connectors
Many water heater connectors are labeled as 1", but the actual internal opening may be much smaller. This means the nut may fit a 1" connection, but the internal water passage can still be reduced. A smaller opening may restrict water flow and affect overall system performance.
EZ-FLUID is designed differently. Our real 1" full-port water heater connector features an approximate 1.03" opening, allowing better water flow for high-demand water heater installations. Compared with reduced-port connectors with an approximate 0.74" opening, EZ-FLUID provides a more open flow path and helps reduce unnecessary restriction.
In addition to better flow, EZ-FLUID includes a thickened hex nut for stronger installation support and an integrated white dielectric sleeve to help reduce galvanic corrosion. These details matter when choosing a connector for long-term reliability, especially in water heater applications where durability, protection, and performance are important.
